The wood panelled cathedral high ceilings are breathtaking. The traditional stained glass windows allow natural light to flood in. Sandstone walls and polished timber floors ensure both warmth and character. The fit out is minimal and sleek providing contemporary contrast to the surrounds.
Due to its location this venue is ideal for corporate events, launches and end of year events. The amazing acoustics and baby grand piano can be incorporated to elevate your next events.

Robin Boyd’s iconic family home exists today almost exactly as it did whilst the Boyd family lived here, right down to the artwork, furniture and books. Arguably Australia’s most significant architect, esteemed both for his writings and his buildings.‘Walsh Street’, the house Boyd designed for his own family in 1957, is his best-known work. It has been extensively published both nationally and internationally as an exemplar of modernist Australian architecture and a house that continues to influence design-thinking.
Walsh Street can accommodate a variety of event types. The furniture remains in its original format - just like it did when the Boyd family lived here. In the warmer months alfresco dining in the Walsh Street courtyard is an option (weather permitting).

Using custom designed components, the interior morphs into different spatial types depending on the time of day - restaurant, cafe, gallery, showroom, office, function venue, workspace.
The space is made up from elements that create the human experience of time. A dark space, a light space representing day & night, a naturally & artificially backlit illuminated ceiling, representing the sky, a garden wall which organically divides the space and reveals the seasons, and a series of monoliths, both solid & sculptural, clean & rough, representing human existence, endeavour, education, artistry, and ingenuity.
The design received the Premier Design Award at The Australian Interior Design Awards and a High-Commendation at the World INSIDE Festival in 2018.

The Reading Room located within the Fitzroy Town Hall, was originally part of the building’s library and features the original floor-to-ceiling bookcases.

The villa underwent a loving renovation and decoration by the late Stuart Rattle, a renowned Australian interior designer known for his exceptional style and aesthetic sense. The result is a space that seamlessly blends comfort and luxury.
Brolga Hill Estate is nestled within six acres of impeccably landscaped gardens that include olive and fruit trees, a small herb and vegetable garden and provides the perfect backdrop for Cookes Food & Events culinary endeavours.
